The Drivedeck is easy to load and avoids the need for lengthy transfers involving reseating – users are free to use their own existing chair, seating or even a beanbag.
The line following ability can be used as a safe pathway from which to develop switch access skills and joystick use over time, gently adapting settings as individual skills develop.
Integral ramps enable any wheelchair to be easily loaded onto the Drivedeck and folded back during use. Includes adjustable deck top for accommodating any commonly used wheelchair.
The Drivedeck can incorporate, but is not limited to, joystick, head-controls and foot controls. All of which can be used with line-following, anti-collision and reverse disable and all controls can be switched or fully proportional while being used through the Smile Smart System.
