At Smile Smart Technology Ltd we believe it is important to give full support and backup to all our customers. This starts with helping you get the right resources and at the right price.
UK orders will be subject to a Standard Carriage Charge of £9.50 (+ VAT) and are normally shipped via Courier.
We aim to despatch orders within 3-5 working days from the date an order is received. There can be some occasions when despatch can take a little longer, if your order is urgent please telephone for timescales, some items can be sent by courier 24hrs (1 business day) upon request and will incur an additional charge. Some larger items such as Floor Stands will incur a higher delivery charge which is displayed on the product page and orders for these items need to be placed by telephone or purchase order.
European Orders/International Orders outside Europe
Orders within Europe are sent via UPS. International orders are sent via UPS. We aim to despatch as soon as possible from the date orders are placed (within 3-5 business days), however, dependent on stock availability, there are rare occasions that this may take a little longer. Delivery is then estimated to take up to 7 business days from date of despatch. If your order is urgent please telephone for time scales.

The Payment method that you should select for your order depends on whether you are an educational establishment (schools, colleges, nurseries and LEAs) or a private customer.
Educational Establishments, Local Authorities and NHS
We accept purchase orders from educational establishments, Local Authorities and NHS . Invoices for orders placed using a purchase order will be sent out with the products, or posted separately to the invoice address if a different delivery address is specified. Please provide us with your Purchase Order number where applicable.
Private Customers (and all non-UK orders)
Payment for orders from private customers and all non-UK customers is required via a credit or debit card. You will be asked to supply us with your card details via secure connection.
Please Note: If paying by credit or debit card the card must be registered at your billing address.
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT. Orders received from UK customers will be subject to VAT at 20%.

For orders from elsewhere in the European Union we have to charge tax at 20% unless you supply us your Sales Tax Number (the equivalent of the UK VAT Registration Number).
For orders from outside the European Union we will not charge any tax on your order.
Certain products that we sell can be purchased at a price exempt from VAT. This is known as VAT relief and is subject to the following rule: the product in question must have been designed specifically for use by people with a disability and is being purchased by, or on behalf of, someone who is disabled.
For us to complete your order and take payment with VAT relief applied you must complete the VAT Exemption Form at the Checkout stage of your purchase. Alternatively you can download the form here.
Please note that VAT Relief can only be applied for by private UK based customers
We do not disclose information about our customers to any third parties, other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
We will store the personal details that you provide us in accordance with our rigorous data storage policy, which is in compliance with the UK Data Protection Act (1998). We do this so that we can provide you with written information by post, keeping you up to date about products, services and developments in the Special Educational Needs field. In submitting your order via this online catalogue and agreeing to these terms and conditions we infer that you have agreed for us to store your data and use it for the above mentioned purposes. You can contact us by email, telephone or in writing if you decide in the future that you would rather not receive such information in the post. We do however have to keep some of your personal data for an indefinite period in order to comply with regulations regarding the auditing of our accounts. We will not contact you with marketing related information by means of email unless you agree that we can do so by giving us your consent during the order submission process of the online catalogue.
We want you have the right resources to help you/your client with their mobility and/or communication. Goods in resaleable condition can be returned to us within 14 days of purchase, if in your opinion they are unsuitable for your/your clients needs. If they are returned undamaged and in their original packaging we will be happy to refund your money.
Your rights to return goods are also protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive, which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk.
Payment on orders placed with a purchase order should be made within 30 days of the invoice date. Details on how to make payments will be provided on the invoice.
